Co-design workshops wrap up

3 July 2023

On 24 June CleanCo held the last in a series of 3 workshops with our Community Co-design Panel, resulting in a draft masterplan for the Swanbank Clean Energy Hub that we will soon be sharing with the Ipswich community.

A huge thanks to our Community Co-design Panel, made up of 30 passionate and curious people from across Ipswich, who gave up their Saturdays to attend 3 workshops over 6 weeks. Also a big thanks to the expert advisors and CleanCo staff who supported the process, not to mention our wonderful facilitator, Max Hardy and his last minute stand-in for workshop 2, Amanda Newbery!

The 3 workshops brought the community together to share their local knowledge, insights and ideas for how CleanCo can develop the Swanbank Clean Energy Hub into a site that will deliver vital clean energy options as well as community infrastructure.

CleanCo Board member, Allison Warburton was delighted to accept the draft Swanbank precinct masterplan developed by the panel on behalf of the CleanCo board at the final workshop on 24 June.

Stay tuned for updates about the masterplan!
